According to the posted article, it sounds like I should wait to take it around the time that I graduate. But in the article that gmatpill posted, it also states that the ideal time to take the exam would also be during the summer between my Junior and Senior year. The reason I am so anxious about taking the GMATs early is because I would like to optimize my scores. I fear that if I do not take them sooner rather than later, I will loose some of my Quantitative Skills which I am already struggling with. Is there really any harm in taking it during my senior year? That way I would be able to hone in on what level schools I will be applying to. Not to mention, I would not have to study for a tough standardized test 3-5 years out of college. Do the prestigious MBA programs (Harvard, Stern, Sloan, Columbia) look down on someone applying to business school who may have taken the GMATs 4 years ago?
