hello,
i plan to apply for my masters degree and i would like to ask you if having taken the test 2 times deteriorates your application
i am asking because i plan to take the test in 20 days but i dont feel so sure of reaching the score i am aiming, so i would like to know if the option of retaking the test is ok.

Hi Georgestath,
Most B-school will only consider your high score--they know that life, unpreparedness, illness, etc. can all lead to a score that isn't representative of the candidate! However, barring extreme conditions, the GMAT is a reliable test. It's important that if you retake, you do so with significant effort spent training past whatever held you back the first time. Just taking the test again and hoping you do better isn't likely to pay off!
