Hey Members,
I've written plenty of CAT exams so far, but I'm not seeing a logical correlation between getting right answers and the difficulty. For example, I'll consistently get 700-800questions write on verbal, but it doesn't consistently give me the tough questions. It'll throw a 300-500 or 500-600 question after getting 4 or 5 straight 700- 800s. And in reverse, I'll consistently get medium questions right, but won't get a tough question to answer.
I really feel like the CAT systems on KAPLAN and
MGMAT are not accurate. The difficulty levels are not accurate. Easy questions are labeled hard and vice versa. I find the so called "High or 700-800" difficult questions to be much easier than the rest. I write the GMAT in two days, and because of this, I do not know how accurate my prep scores are. I've averaged a 620 on almost 7 exams but do not know if this is right.
I found GMATprep to be much more accurate, and I scored much better; I found it easier, if thats possible. Unfortunately there is only two exams there.
Has anyone had issues like this?
