Can anyone please let me know how the VeritasPrep CATs are compared to the real GMAT. I took a VeritasCAT and scored a 50 on the Quant section. On the GMATPrep test 4 weeks back, I scored only a 44.
It seems like the Quant on VeritasPrep would be much easier than the real GMAT?
Does the Verbal section on the VeritasPrep accurately reflect the difficulty of questions I would see on the real GMAT?
Hi gmatprep1982,
I took the VeritasPrep test during my GMAT prep and I did not find it a good indicator of my performance. If you found quant on Veritas easier than GMATPrep, then you have your answer. There are a lot of tests in the market but no one is a close second to the GMATPrep. But I am sure you must have must have put in efforts during these last 4 weeks, so it seems possible that your quant level might be around 46 - 50. I found verbal little closer to the GMAT, especially CR, but as far as I recall SC questions were shorter than the ones I faced in the actual GMAT. I suggest that you take the repeat GMATPrep test, and if you score anything above Q46, then it will show a clear improvement in your quant performance. Specifically, if you score Q50 in the repeat GMATPrep test then you may consider your performance to be around 46+. All the best !!
Hope this helps,
Vercules
