Hi All, I attempted the Princeton review paper. My score goes as: Quant - 40 & Verbal - 29. But the rate of correct questions were 30/37 in quant and 26/41 in verbal. I understand low score in verbal, but do not understand the scoring in Quant section. My overall score was 580. Can anyone help me understand what could be the possible reason for this?

Why? You took a paper test... that's nothing like the real thing (not even arguing that nobody knows the official algorithm and that the questions are different). Not really possible to explain why and what. Take the score for what it is and move on.

Yeah i just took a free smaple test, its less than month left for me to appear in GMAT so was taking as many test as possible. Wanted to understand the weak areas and see if my recent prepeartiong contributing to my score. I guess you are right, should take it just as practice test and move on... Thank You
