Hi all,
I have a doubt that I think lot more people has faced. It is regarding the way the difficulty of questions is classified. Here in this forum, questions are classified with 700, 600-700 and sub 600. However, what I must understand that a 700 question is? As the three digit score is the result of weighting verbal and quant, would not be more correct to classify questions in accordance to the verbal and quant scaled score?
You may think I am crazy, or just stupid, but check the following reasoning. Imagine that I am a math wizard but not so good in verbal. If I cannot answer correctly 700 CR questions neither 700 SC questions, does this mean that I won’t be able to achieve 700 even if my quant score is really high?

The scoring algorithm is very vague, its overall how you perform on both the sections...check this out..
