Hey,
Was just hoping to pick your brains a bit. I have taken 2 practice CAT tests (both of the official GMAT ones in the GMATprep software):
Test 1: (550, Q32, V34)
Test 2: (600, Q35, V38)
I'm puzzled why I got a higher Quant score on the second test as I answered less questions AND got less of them correct. Something isn't quite right... Can anyone explain this?
Test 1: 22 questions correct out of 37 answered (Q32)
Test 2: 17 questions correct out of 28 answered (Q35)
As an aside; I think I must be one of the few people trying to study for the GMAT in 3 weeks (having not touched maths since high school); I was hoping for a score of 700, but trying to aim for 650 in 4 days time! Has anyone taken the GMAT in quick succession; I'm half thinking about booking another GMAT exam in 2 weeks just so I can present the School with a more up do date GMAT score (when they are considering my application - it will show dedication at least?)
Any opinions greatly appreciated
