hi Riddon,

I am studying to the quant section for the past few months and improving gradually.

I would suggest most of the learning comes from redoing what you did .

Every error that you have committed you need to master them to a point that you never commit them.

For this ask yourself :

1.What was the tested ?
2.Why did you make the mistake ?
3.Was it because you didnt know the concept/Timing issue/Silly mistakes
4.How can you avoid it in future ?
5.What should you do/What hints you should take from the question to avoid such mistakes in future.

Manhattan GMAT books are great plus you have a lot of materials on GMAT club.

In case you find lost I wold suggest you to enroll for some good course.

Personally I had a trial of target test prep and I really enjoyed the interface and structure.

There might be others also which you can have a trial and see what works for you.

Study hard but most importantly study right :)

Hello dear friend,

thank you for your reply.
I appreciate your advice, and I will definitely check my mistakes so I would learn from them.
I am still working on my Basic Concepts with the Manhattan Books, afterwards I'll move to a higher LV.

By the way, I'd be glad if you could share any specific link or material that could be helpful for me and my actual situation?

Thanks in advance.

Hello Scott!

I am having some problems using the Website since this is my first post, so I just copied your questions so I could answer accordingly.

As for your first advice, you can freely consider me as a beginner from zero, since I am just learning the basic concepts yet...

1) To what programs will you be applying? What are the deadlines for these programs?
I'm searching to study MBA in UK, but I will consider any other opportunity as plan B or C.
I didn't found exactly which University, but getting a scholarship is also important for me, since I cannot afford paying all the costs by myself. My GPA of my Bachelor studies is pretty well, I've an average of 9.73 (MAX 10.00). And I got on TOEFL 102 overall score.

2) By when would you LIKE to take the GMAT? By when MUST you take the GMAT?
I'd like to take my GMAT on February to March approximately since I've to improve a lot.

[3) For how many hours a day, on average, can you study between now and your GMAT?
I have 4 hours a day to study after my work however, on weekends I am all free the entire day.

4) What is your GMAT score goal?
My desire score on GMAT is 650 +

Thanks in advance.

Hi RidonV,

Since it sounds like you're just beginning your studies, then it would be a good idea to take a FULL-LENGTH practice CAT Test; you can take 2 for free at www.mba.com (and they come with some additional practice materials). If you want to do a little studying first, so that you can familiarize yourself with the basic content and question types, then that is okay - but you should not wait too long to take that initial CAT. That score will give us a good sense of your natural strengths and weaknesses and will help provide a basis for comparison as you continue to study. A FULL CAT takes about 3.5 hours to complete, so make sure that you have set aside enough time to take it in one sitting. Once you have those scores, you should report back here and we can come up with a study plan.
