Opition C seems to be correct.

This option directly addresses the fact that in this newly discovered society of minuscule monkeys, odor is the determining factor for dominance rather than size or physical strength. If the monkeys are visually impaired, it would make sense for them to rely more heavily on their sense of smell to establish social hierarchy and dominance.

Other options clearly put different vaguie pointers.
A. Deaf monkeys have nothing to do with relying more on odor.
B. Talks about ovulation. Not in the context of the paragraph.
D. Completely out of context. Easy to eliminate.
E. Again, talks about vague and irrelevant pointers -  Wide variety of parameters - we don't need that.
