1) perfect square always have odd number of factors so \(X\) can be equal only to \(27\)
Sufficient
2) we can calculate number of factors any nomber by finding prime factors of number and add to each powers of this factors \(1\) and multiply this numbers.
For example \(34\) has two primes: \(2\) and \(17\) in first power, so number of factors will be equal \(2*2 = 4\)
from the task we know that \(X\) can be \(26\) or \(27\).
\(26\) can only be product of \(2\) and \(13\) so we can infer that number \(J\) has two primes and this contradicts to our statement.
\(27\) is \(3*3*3\) so we can infer that number \(J\) has \(3\) primes in \(2\) power each.
Sufficient.
Answer is D

E i am saying... the reason.. could both statement give different answers?

st 2 giving 26
but both giving a finite answer but still different.
is this a property of DS?
