What is the value of the two digit integer m?
(1) m is divisible by 6
(2) the sum of the two digits is 3
(1) m is divisible by 6
(2) the sum of the two digits is 3
The OA for this is e.
I had a doubt - why is the answer not c?
Because:
Given that m is a two digit integer we have to get it value
St 1) says m is divisible by 6 - not sufficient as we dont know m
St 2) says the sum of the two digits of m is 3. Then m can be 21 or 12. - not sufficient
Taking 1 and 2 together,
If m is 21 it is not divisible by 6
If m is 12 it is divisible by 6
Therefore m =12
Therefore answer c
