If x and y are integers, x≠0 and y≠0, is  \frac{x^2}{x} > \frac{y^2}{y}  ?

(1)  \frac{6x}{y} = \frac{1}{2} 
(2) x + 11 = y

Weird question; it's just asking "is x > y?" Statement 1 tells us y = 12x. If x is a positive integer, then y would be much bigger than x, but if x is a negative integer, y would be much smaller than x, so this is not sufficient.

Statement 2 just tells us y is 11 bigger than x, so naturally it's sufficient and the answer is B.

The question is: Is x^2/x > y^2/y?
i.e. Is x > y?

From 1: 6x/y = 1/2 => x/y = 1/12
Possibility 1: x = 1, y = 12 => x is NOT greater than y
Possibility 2: x = -1, y = -12 => x IS greater than y

Hence - Not Sufficient

From 2: y = x + 11 => y > x
Clearly, x is NOT greater than y - Sufficient
