The answer is B

A: we can deduce that n can be any number from 2,3,5 multiples
2 means 12 is not a factor of n
24 means , the condition gets satisfied
so not sufficient

B: from B we can deduce that n has to be a multiple of 24 which is a factor of 12 at any cost

so sufficient

thanks

Is 12 a factor of n?

(1) n is a factor of 360
(2) 24 is a factor of n

Statement 1 : Not sufficient

n can be 2 which gives 12 is not factor of n
n can be 12 which gives 12 is a factor of n

Statement 2 : Sufficient

If 24 is factor of n, then 12 is surely factor of n.

Hence, OA is (B).
