It has got E written all over.
All are inequality and in each, term containing P is greater. Not likely to give an answer.
Is P > |Q| ?
MEANS P should be positive and should have a higher numeric value.
(1) \(P^2 > Q^3\)
P could be negative and Q positive.
P=100 and Q=10...YES
P=-100 and Q=10...NO
Insuff
(2) P > Q
We do not know the numeric value.
P=4 and Q=2....YES
P=4 and Q=-6..NO
Insuff
Combined
P=-4 and Q=-5...NO
P=100 and Q=-5..YES

Breaking Down the Info:
One thing to note is if we know P was negative, we can say the statement(s) is sufficient since |Q| has to be nonnegative.
Statement 1 Alone:
If both P and Q are positive, we may have P > Q = |Q|. If P is negative and Q is positive, then P < |Q|. Since we have both cases, this statement is insufficient.
Statement 2 Alone:
Q might be a huge negative number, resulting in |Q| > P. Thus this statement is insufficient.
Both Statements Combined:
If both P and Q are negative, we would have P < |Q|. If both P and Q are positive, we would have P > Q = |Q| (check that statement 1 does not interfere with these cases). Since we have both cases, combined it is insufficient.
