Please correct the OA since OA is E

aikomao
The circumference of a circle is 2xpi. What is the value of x?
I. The radius is equal to x.
II. The area of the circle is the same as double the diameter minus 1.

a. Statement (I) ALONE is sufficient, but statement (II) alone is not sufficient
b. Statement (II) ALONE is sufficient, but statement (I) alone is not sufficient
c. Both statements TOGETHER are sufficient, but NEITHER statement ALONE is sufficient
d. EACH statement ALONE is sufficient
e. Statements (I) and (II) TOGETHER are NOT sufficient

How is statement II sufficient enough to answer the question?
