So we know that there are Total of 12 socks and their ration is 8:4, which is also 2:1

3 Socks are removed, = 9 socks in total

(1) So the 9 socks still have a 2:1 ratio, so their ratio does not change, therefore there was 2 black socks removed and 1 white sock removed Sufficient

(2) I couldn’t find the relationship here, we could have picked out 1 black sock and 2 more black socks or 1 black sock a remaining 1 black and 1 white. Insufficient

Ans= A
(1) The socks that remain in the drawer have a ratio of 2 black to 1 white.

out of 12, 3 are removed, so we have 9 socks remaining in a 2:1 ratio of black to white
2x+1x= 3x=9
x=3 white , 2x=6 black
SUFFICIENT

(2) One of the first two socks removed is black.
We do not know what color the other 2 socks removed were.
INSUFFICIENT
