Using only first statement we can not find out % increase in 3rd year compared to 2nd year.
Using 2nd statement lets find out the percentage increase in student enrollment from Year 2 to Year 3
Let's assume students enrolled in 1st year were 100. so there were 120 students enrolled in year 2 and in year 3 it is 130 (30% more compared to first year).
So in year 3 8.33% ((100* 10) / 120) more stdents enrolled compared to year 2.
So second statement alone is sufficient to find the answer,
Therefore, answer is B.
