I think the answer is wrong because there is no condition on whether x = y ;
let say x =8 y=8 (satisfy the 2 conditions)
x2 -y2 =0 which is not divisible by 8

joeazar7 this is a common myth; in fact, 0 is divisible by any number except for zero. The reason is that 0/8 = 0, which is an integer. Divisible means "divides evenly, resulting in an integer".
