Congrats on the admit. That is a great outcome.
If your main goal is switching countries and continuing in Product Management then Oxford can definitely help but it is important to go in with a realistic view of the market.
The biggest thing many applicants do not realize is that Oxford is a one year MBA. That means the timeline is very compressed. You arrive in September and recruiting for many roles starts very soon after that. So you have only a few months to settle in build your network understand the local market prepare for interviews and start applying. For career switchers this can be hard. For someone like you who is already in product it is more manageable.
Another thing to know is that Europe has fewer structured MBA pipelines for Product Manager roles compared to the US. So while tech opportunities do exist they are often with Amazon fintech firms startups scaleups product strategy roles or adjacent roles rather than a large number of classic big tech PM positions. Many of the most desired firms hire very selectively especially in Europe.
As for whether Saïd helps the answer is yes but not in a magical way. The school gives you career support employer sessions coaching alumni access and networking opportunities. But like most one year European MBAs recruiting is not extremely structured and you will still need to drive a lot of the process yourself through networking outreach and personal hustle.
The honest view is this. Oxford is worth it if you want a globally respected brand a strong international network and a realistic shot at continuing in product in the UK Europe Middle East or other international markets. It is less ideal if you are expecting a highly structured MBA recruiting machine or an easy path into top tech PM roles without already having relevant experience.
For your profile Oxford looks more promising because you are not trying to become a PM from scratch. You are trying to continue in the same field in a new geography and that is exactly where Oxford CAN make sense.
