Rejected at Oxford, ISB, IIMA after interviews

Question

Hey! I’m a dentist. Have worked 4Y+ in dental clinics and health insurance. Goals after MBA: consulting/ strategy in health
GMAT FE 665+ ECs in fitness and volunteering. 
I applied to ISB, IIM A PGPX, Oxford and got rejected after fairly good interviews. 
Considering next steps for MBA with workexp and better strategy.
Very down and defeated.
Anybody with experience in this, can you please help me and suggest better approach?

You can consider reaching out to ISB to request feedback on your application. They do sometimes provide reasons for the decision, although it may take some time.
It would also be helpful to review your essays and overall profile in detail to better understand what might have influenced the outcome.

You can seek a feedback from ISB sometime in May; for IIM A, you were just possibly meeting their experience cut-off; that said, without any facts, anything we say will be based on speculation.

Hi DrDanish , What is the split in terms of your experience between dental practice and health insurance? I would say that having more relevant and higher quality experience in the health insurance space over and above the dental practice would make your profile more aligned with post MBA roles.
What kind of consulting roles did you pitch for post MBA? It is very likely that your goals strategy fell short. I say this because you secured an Oxford interview, which is not easy to come by compared to Indian B schools.
Perhaps the adcom was not convinced with the depth of your research around your goals. Oxford, in particular, tends to probe your understanding of the school and post MBA opportunities in the interview if they sense a gap in your application. Was that your experience?
