A lot of applicants from competitive and crowded pools assume that a sub-320 GRE automatically shuts doors at top schools. That’s not always true, but it does mean you have to get a lot of other things right.
I am sharing how a candidate who had a 317 GRE, took a career gap to pivot into investing, still managed to secure an Oxford admit with a clear VC/PE narrative.
Sharing his journey here because I think it will resonate with many of you who feel held back by a test score or a non-linear decision.
