A lot of applicants from competitive and crowded pools assume that a sub-320 GRE automatically shuts doors at top schools. That’s not always true, but it does mean you have to get a lot of other things right.
I am sharing how a candidate who had a 317 GRE, took a career gap to pivot into investing, still managed to secure an Oxford admit with a clear VC/PE narrative.
