Hi All,
The last time I gave GMAT. I got stuck on a question which used brackets. I can not find the appropriate usage anywhere.
Do we repeat the whole clause or just a noun in the brackets? How do they work? I will be glad if someone can help with the rules or give me a source to study them.
The options where like..I did A (rather than doing B) OR I did A (rather than B) and many more.

You can also omit units, verbs, and even whole clauses from the second term,
as long as there is no ambiguity in the comparison.
