I am sharing my personal experience from
Seed Global’s 31 January 2026 session at Taj, Bengaluru, so other applicants can make informed decisions.
I travelled from a
far corner of Bengaluru, which took me
nearly 2 hours on a weekend. I left home just after breakfast and reached the venue around
12:15 PM. The event had multiple overlapping sessions, and I tried to attend as many as possible.
Honestly, the
quality of schools present was not impressive. I understand that organizing such events is not easy and that bringing top-tier schools requires effort—but expectations were not met.
However, the
real issue was far more serious.
❌ No refreshments at all — not even tea
The event ran until
5:30 PM, and there was
no provision for snacks, tea, or food of any kind. I had been surviving on water since morning.
I am a
diabetic, and by around
3:00 PM, my condition worsened due to hunger. I approached the help desk and asked if
anything was available to eat. The response was shocking:
➡️ I was offered
two toffees, which were apparently complimentary items from the hotel.
At a premium venue like
Taj, during a full-day student-focused conference, this felt completely unacceptable.
❓ Paid stalls, but no food accessI checked multiple counters to see whether refreshments could be purchased. Every stall informed me that they had
paid a substantial amount to participate and were not offering food or beverages.
My simple question is:
Quote:
If organizers cannot provide even basic refreshments, why not
clearly inform participants in advance or advise them to bring their own food?
🚪 Forced to leave earlyDue to
unbearable hunger and physical discomfort, I had no choice but to
leave the venue at 3:30 PM, missing the remaining sessions entirely.
📞 Post-event marketing harassment
To make matters worse, after an event that caused
physical distress, I have since been
bombarded with marketing calls and emails.
⚠️ Final thoughtsIf Seed Global aims to grow as a serious education service provider and attract world-class institutions and students, it must start by offering
basic care, transparency, and respect to attendees.
By skipping even minimal arrangements like tea, they may have saved a few thousand rupees—but they have
lost a potential customer like me.
I have taken a firm decision
not to engage with or use any services associated with Seed Global in the future. I am sharing this experience publicly so that other students—especially those with medical conditions—can plan accordingly and avoid similar distress.
Please do your own due diligence before attending such events.
