This one is a little tricky. I still think it should be E.
The plan, which the engineers said would
save the aquifer by reducing pumping to ___________ levels, has passed a governmental environmental review but faces opposition from outdoor and environmental groups.
A. innocuous - This implies the aquifer wont be further harmed, but not necessarily saved.
B. feasible - Its being used obviously, exploited even.
C. practicable - same as feasible
D. minimal - possible to save a aquifer without using it to absolute minimal levels, maybe by reducing usage just a little lower than current rates
E. remedial - Specific implies it would allow the aquifer to regain its volume/health/levels
F. benign - no value added, no change in status mostly, doesnt imply reinvigoration of health.
Where am i wrong ? Someone correct me please.
Please give me kudos, i need more kudos. Thanks
