Dear ALL!
I'm an international student planning to apply to the fall 2006. I've been preparing for GMAT for nearly 4 month. And I haven't stopped making STUPID mistakes in the Quant.section. Somebody calls them technical mistakes. How to reduce the number of such kind of mistakes? I am afraid, if I do such mistakes in practising mode, how many more I will do in real test.
P.S.: Today took Powerprep, made 9 mistakes out of 37. Most of the mistakes were in DS sec.. And they all are STUPID!

Hi, Dilshod, it seems you have a concentration problem. That is if you actually can solve the question but you miss details under time pressure. That I think happens to everyone of us in some degree.
You should do some relaxation before answering questions. I also suggest some self-talk and positive thinking during relaxation. You will face the questions relaxed and concentrated.

GMAT math is all about stupid mistakes. When you stop making them, you get to Q48-50 (to 90-95%), when you actually learn to solve tricky problems well, you get to Q51 and above (99%).
