I figured we could start a thread dedicated to those pursuing the JD/MBA.

1) Where did you apply? Northwestern, Virginia, Duke, UCLA, Berkeley

2) Why did you apply (career aspirations)? Entrepreneurship aspirations where a law background will be essential

3) Where have you been accepted? Where will you matriculate? Still awaiting decisions... :?

I actually like this idea... I am not applying YET! But, I do plan on applying next cycle. I am reallly HOPING to get into either Harvard or Columbia, but those are really just my top two choices (although I feel I have a good shot at Columbia, not so much at Harvard). What were your numbers BR79?

I am a JD/MBA applicant! Well, in truth, I am only applying for the JD/MBA at Northwestern. I have always intended to get both degrees, but some issues came up this cycle that prevented me from heading down the traditional route. Thus, the rest of my schools (Harvard, Stanford, U Chicago, Haas, Wharton) are only receiving an application for the MBA program, with the intention of either going the full 5 years to earn both degrees, entering their JD/MBA program after the first year of MBA courses (which is an option everywhere I've asked), or having a change of heart and getting a PhD in English Composition when I'm done with the MBA. :-D
