Dear all,
Some of you spend a whole year to prepare for your MBA battle. Some heavily occupied a few months to reach their dream schools? Some guys are accepted into Kellogg, but it does not meet their expectation. I want to know your level of satisfaction.

I c no reasn why ppl admitted into Kellogg are not happy. Kellogg is definately one of the top schools around!

I voted for the first choice even though it doesn't happen to be my dream school. (That would have to be Stanford, but I didn't even apply because I knew I stood a snowball's chance in hell). It's more like a stretch school with a solid regional reputation and excellent ROI. Also, from a geographically strategic standpoint, the school is ideally located in an area where my wife and I are really looking forward to doing business with a few key countries around the Pac Rim.

Whats the difference between 2 and 3. I didn't get into my #1 dream school but I got into one of the schools that I knew I would be really happy about (my #2 school out of 8).

I'm extremely happy w/ my outcome..

I didn't have a very competetitve profile (2.98 GPA, 600 GMAT).. so all my schools were reach schools. And frankly, I did not want to apply to schools that would have been considered to safety schools for me.

I targeted georgia tech from the very beginning, attended info sessions, visited a class, etc.. I think it really helped. I'm also thrilled that the program is shooting up in the rankings.

Why do you say that. Surely you must be very happy with Chicago.

If there was an option that said: "Still waiting to hear on two schools that I would be very happy with" that is what I would pick.

I've got some serious avatar-envy going on here, I can't believe so many people already know where they're going. These are Round 2 decisions I'm waiting on, guess the schools I applied to happen to have some of the later decision dates.

Despite the dissatisfied votes, it's pretty great that 45% of people are saying they got into their dream-school.

Oh, I didn't vote so I can't see the results. That's too bad.

I second Johnny's suggestion, of adding a 'still waiting' option.

GMAT Club has been a sweet and sour ride for me these days. While I am extremely please that so many of GMAT Clubbers have gotten into dream schools, I am bummed out that I dont have an admit yet.

But, I am hopefull that my non-avtar status changes soon!
