Hi everyone. My name is Sara and I have been out of school for a while, working as a chemistry teacher in a public high school for the past several years. I am very interested in starting my own not-for-profit consulting firm for developing green energy in rural areas. It's been a while and I find the whole application process fairly intimidating. Is there anyone here who knows anything about MBA programs specializing in non-profit or with significant reusable energy curricula or connections? I think I could use some application consulting in general - does anyone know of test prep companies who offer this service as well?

Well Stanford and Yale comes to mind first.
Stanford great school for entrepeneurs and Non-profit. Great connections.
Yale, great school for non profits.
But outside of those, you should try location. In my opinion, schools like berkeley would have a stronger program just by location. A girl on the U of Chicago info session said she interned at a renewable energy company but she had to find the job herself by contacting an alumni. So there is at least 2 Chicago alumni that work in the field.

) from Wharton and everyone gets an interview from Kellogg. I have yet to hear anything from Yale and Darden. For Round 2 I plan to apply to NYU (Stern) and Chicago (Booth). I may throw in an app to Harvard and UCLA depending on how industrious I am feeling and what happens with my Round 1 schools.
