Congratulations, Virflo, and thank you for such a positive post.
Very impressive score, and it shows that you have improved greatly in both math and verbal since your first attempt – just amazing.

Good luck with your applications!

Great job!

There are enough stories of people in the 400s, 500s, 600s improving to 700+ that nobody should doubt themselves.

Bravo!

great job!!! :-D

i'm really glad I got to read this.
(this is my first post)...
I was looking at posts looking for stories who were not great in Quant and improved over a few months.
That's wonderful. I'm going to bookmark this.

4.Manage your time. By practicing, you should come to a point where you just know that your two minutes are up… hurry up or if you are unable to answer, make an educated guess. I only looked at the clock about 5 times during each part. To make sure I was on time, I checked that after 55 minutes I was at question 10; 35 minutes, question 20; 15 minutes, question 30.
Virflo, congratulations on a great score and an impressive improvement. I agree 100% with your tip #4. Timing is essential and the only way you are able to calibrate your internal clock is through practice!

10. I might get criticized for this, but here it goes!! Realize that there is an element of luck to the GMAT. Nearly a fourth of the questions are not actually marked, so if you are lucky, the questions you answer wrong are not impacting your score! I’m sure that to a certain extent, I was lucky today. So don’t give up!!! You could be lucky too!!

Congratulations..... I liked this part the best :)

As i read through your post, it was very evident that you had put in a lot of efforts to get to such a score and congratulations. Definitely it's very inspirational to me and am yet to give the exam and hopefully should be able to take a lot of points into consideration.
All the best for your forthcoming apps process.
