Total ways of serving 3 canapes from a possible 12 combinations can be given by 12c3

12c3 = $$\frac{12*11*10}{3*2}$$ = 220(Option A)

12C3 = 12! / 3! (12!-3!) = 12!/3!*9!

= 12 x 11 x 10 x 9! / 3!*9! ==> Cancel the 9!

12 x 11 x 10 / 6 = 220
