Given: A garden shed contains a total of 8 bags of yard care supplies. There are 3 bags of fertilizer and 2 bags of grass seed, and the remaining bags are of mulch.
Asked: If 3 bags are selected from the shed at random, one at a time without replacement, what is the probability that none of the bags are of mulch?
Total bags = 8
Bags of mulch = 8 - 3- 2 = 3
Probability that none of the bags are of mulch = (5/8)*(4/7)*(3/6) = (5*4*3)/(8*7*6) = 5/28
