No of hydrogen atoms more than carbon atoms per molecule = 6 .

Per day 1000 molecules r produced

1 Molecule contains 12 hydrogen atoms and 6 carbon atoms.
hence Hydrogen - Carbon = 6 per molecule

In 10 days, 10,000 molecules were created-> Hence difference is 60,000 for 10 days-> 6000 per day

Correct Answer is B

OFFICIAL SOLUTION:

(B) 10,000 glucose molecules are created over a period of 10 days. Therefore 10,000/10 = 1,000 glucose molecules are created on average per day.

Each glucose molecule contains 6 carbon atoms and 12 hydrogen atoms. So 1,000 glucose molecules contain 6 × 1,000 = 6,000 carbon atoms and 12 × 1,000 = 12,000 hydrogen atoms. The difference is 12,000 – 6,000 = 6,000.

The correct answer is B.
