Hey AbhiAswal,

Thanks for posting.

To answer your question, GMAT is one of the parameters AdComs look for in an applicant, however it isn’t the only one. Also, we would like to know what a ‘decent’ score means for you. A 750 would be needed for top schools while even a 690 would be good for others. Please share your desired schools so that we can analyze better. To earn a scholarship, you would need an extensive overall profile and not just a high GMAT score.

If you have any further queries regarding your score and profile, feel free to schedule a call with our profile experts at your convenience.

Hi,

So I wrote GMAT and got a decent score. I have high chances of getting the colleges which I want

So should I write GMAT again? Or work not?

Or will a higher score give me a chance of scholarship or not?

Based on my examination of your previous posts, it appears that you have significant professional experience and are likely in the upper age range. I suggest that you aim for a score higher than the average for your demographic on the GMAT exam. For Indian applicants who wish to attend prestigious MBA programs in India or overseas with scholarships, it's advisable to target a score of at least Q49+ and V38+. Achieving higher scores may increase your chances of receiving scholarships, but there are several other factors to consider as well such as quality of your work and your career progression.

Feel free to reach out should you need guidance

there is no thumb rule of how much gmat score is sufficient to get you an admit , ideally one should target at least average score of existing class .. take gmat score as a hygiene factor in your application the higher the better your application will look.... all the best..

Well I score 650 and mba.com it shows excellent chance of getting into Melbourne business school and above average chance in Rotman school of Management.

So I would like to know whether it is advisable to write again if these are the colleges that I'm targeting?

Hello

The GMAT score is but one component of the MBA admissions process.

While your GMAT score may fall within the necessary range, the rest of your application will also play a key role in determining your success

Having said that, I would recommend you retake the GMAT and try for a higher score. A higher score will not only improve your admission prospects but also help expand your school selection list.

Your chances of getting a scholarship will go up with a higher GMAT score as well, especially if you score above 700.

All the best!
