I think you missed that investment B's interest is Y% and not X%, so the confusion. Anyway, as the others pointed out, its C.

Think answer is C
(1) Gives you interest. So we can find X and hence the compound interest.
(2) Gives already gives you the interest after 3 years

C it is !!..X rate can be 5% and y rate can e 500% so you need to have two interest rates to calculate the difference..
