Bunuel , I, too, calculate the answer as 2.125 km/hr. I think there might be a typo in answer A.

Ant: \(\frac{500m}{12min}\)

Beetle walks 15 percent less distance in same time. (500 * .85 ) = 425 m

Beetle: \(\frac{425m}{12min} *\frac{60min}{1hr}*

\frac{1km}{1000m}\) =

\(\frac{425}{200}\) = 2.125 km/hr
