An art dealer recently raised the price of a painting from \$5,000 to \$6,000. By what percent did she raise the price?

A. 10%
B. 20%
C. 25%
D. 100%
E. 1,000%

Difference in price = 6000 - 5000 = 1000

Required % = (1000 / 5000)*100 = 20%
