M:F= 3:4 > M =3k, F=4k, k any constant(not=0). So 4k-3k=5. => K=5, => M=15. Ans. B

At a certain company, the ratio of male to female employees is 3 to 4. If there are 5 more female employees than male employees, how many male employees does the company have?

(A) 12
(B) 15
(C) 18
(D) 21
(E) 24

Lets assume , #male=\(3x\) and #female=\(4x\). Hence the Q-stem says \((4-3)x\) i.e. \(x =5\)
Hence #males=\(3x\)= \(3*5\) =\(15\) Hence Ans B
