A tough one. But I guess that is what RCs are supposed to be. Anyways, I think:

1) E) discussing the importance of thermoreceptors in the control of the internal temperature of an organism
In the first paragraph the author describes the 2 natural responses of the body and then in the following para, he elaborates on the function of the thermoreceptors and their importance.

2) B) I and II only
the first paragraph gives explanation for I and II, while the III is wrong because they are the ones which respond when the microwave radiations penetrate the surface layers (and hence the receptors) and heat the inner tissues. Since this reaction is slow, the organisms mainly rely on behavioral responses.

3) I think it should be C. I had a confusion between A and C and I disregard the former because its already explained that microwaves cause damage to the tissues, so a new research should not be in the final paragraph.
C) A proposal that the use of microwave radiation be prohibited because it is dangerous.
The second last para states the negative effects of microwave radiation, so the last should propose to prohibit their use.

4) Is not clear.

5) B)unfounded assumption
2nd para graph: "Until recently it was assumed that organisms respond to microwave radiation in the same way... This theory ignores the fact "

6) E) scholarly and concerned

Hey netya34, i didn't understand..
You posted 6 questions and have given 7 answers...
Is CBAABE.. the order of answers from 1 to 6,.. Because if it is, then it will be still satisfying that I have 3 answers correct.. but if not... It would be very depressing.

Please help. :(

Hehe, that's funny 7 answers. Anyway, what is this 3000 RC? Is this a good source? Maybe I'll get it if it is.
