The person is saying good board members have varied interests, and concludes that people who advocate for a specific policy would be bad board members. The person is clearly assuming those two types of people are not the same people; if they were, the argument wouldn't make sense. So E is correct.

I choose e over c as it directly chalanges conclusion if we negate that . Albeit c gave us information that is not discuss as well as if we negalte that nothing change in argument
