Hi everyone!
I am from India. I took my last GMAT in Jan-2020. I was saddened due to my low score. I was going through that type of exertion when you work hard and the results are disappointing. I was gradually trying to get up and start preparing for my next attempt, but a couple of months went And the COVID-19 arrived in India to further mess up my life.
I work in the core-Engineering firm and Work from Home was not that easy for us. And to add to this I was working on a project which was very demanding. My work from home went like 'Wakeup-Eat-Work-Sleep-Repeat'. The times went very hectic to manage. And I kept postponing my GMAT prep. Literally no touch with GMAT at all. (I had forgotten the word GMAT literally)
But now it's just the final week of that hectic project. I am pretty much relaxed. And the first thing on my agenda is to resume my GMAT prep.
I cant imagine how tough it is going to be for me after a totally blank gap of 1 - complete -year.
I want you people to help me know what are the key changes that happened since last year in GMAT.
1) The Online GMAT is obviously the first thing. It's pros and cons. Is this option going to be there forever or just temporary? 2) Also there was news meanwhile that most of the B-schools will not require GMAT scores to apply. What is this? Are they renowned schools? Is this the temporary rule or the New Normal? My first attempt score was 490 - Shall a person like me think about such an option to skip the GMAT and apply to the B-Schools without or not good GMAT score?3) My first attempt score was 490. How can I start studying for the next attempt? For how long shall I do the prep. this time - considering my case. My target score is 720+Thanks in advance!
