Congratulations! Which school did you choose finally?

thanks! I'm still waiting on a few r2 decisions (georgetown, vanderbilt), as of current offers I think I'm leaning more towards Simon (55%) over SMU (80k) and Fisher. How is your process going?

With my stats (690 GMAT, 319 GRE), I was waitlisted in Rice and Notre Dame in R1. I interviewed with Vanderbilt and Simon in R2. Looking at the stats of the admits to these schools, I am struggling to remain hopeful. Let's see.

Hi Aryaa03!! I am from niche background merchant navy, working on managerial roles for quite a few time. At isb it about how you present your compelling stories in essays and application and how do u execute it in interview! Isb believes in diversity.

Hi anulofuma! I am from merchant navy background, non engineer. My under grads was pretty bad but I do make here which suggests academics play a part but it's not everything. Incase u can get a decent GMAT score and can create stellar application that would be okay .

I got admitted to Booth but the acceptance letter had this fine print about scholarships "Admitted Students are automatically considered for merit-based scholarships. Recipients are typically notified within a few weeks of admission." Good luck to everyone

Wow. CFA 3 is very strong. I know many have a hard time with Level 1. You clearly have a strong profile, the brand-name plus they enter Company transfer into the US should paint that picture.

2. Strong undergrad is great. I don’t think you need to convert your GPA into the 4.0 American system. They would be able to read your original system.

3. The only question that may come up is presentation skills and interviewing. These are critical for consultants as you probably know but that will be some admissions will be looking more so when it comes to your interview performance. Just FYI.

4. The fact that you are transitioning from a consulting role into consulting is also a strength that should help with your career and your admission.

PS. You just need a solid test score to put a nice bow on great profile. Should not be an issue.

Hi. Can you please tell me when did you get hec result. Exactly on the date they mention as the 'decision date' for that round or later or earlier than that?

I heard back from HEC on exactly the day they mentioned on their site as the decision date

Hi aims, could you share some insight on the Bocconi interview process and what you think on your application stood out to them? Thank you

For Bocconi the interview round is quick. With other schools I had 2 interviews but with Bocconi it was only one. I had a call with the Recruiting and Admissions Service office and answered the regular questions such as why Bocconi, why MBA now etc

I think my interest in fashion and tech combined with my experience (I work in retail/eComm) made me a good candidate for SDA Bocconi.
