I am kind of freaking out after a ding from Harvard and Wharton although I expected it. My GRE is only a 311 (157Q, 154V) and my undergrad GPA was a 2.7 (my sister passed away half way through) from a service academy. I have been rated #2 once in my army officer career and rated #1 out of 25+ other officers for all 4 years following. My recommendations are impeccable. My resume is impeccable. But my gpa and gre suck terribly. I could not improve them. During study my daughter was hospitalized 6 times. My story is somewhat unique. Embassy bombing survivor and genocide survivor. So far below is what I have, do you guys think I have a chance? (All round 2)
Harvard: dinged no interview
Wharton: dinged no interview
Johnson (consortium): Interview complete
Tuck (consortium): interview complete
Darden (consortium): interview complete
Duke (not consortium): interview complete
Score: Plan to take the GMAT
GPA: 3.0

Next career move at current job is into a CTO role at a 1000+ people consulting firm in Australia, looking to expand my business capability to grow my career in CTO positions, would love to gain experience internationally and I believe a MBA will give me more credibility to continue this career path.
