A first-generation college student (from a no name school) who launched an education startup while concurrently working at a global impact consulting firm. Biggest win is developing one of the largest philanthropic covid vaccination initiatives in the world which ended up picking $50M in funding + scaling my startup to thousands of users and dozens of employees. I work in a company called TCS and have been working in a project for the State Bak of India since November, 2020. I want to pursue Business Intelligence and want to get into a STEM-designated MBA program.
Do you have an awesome long-term goal. It’s great to have a vision that is personal and unique. I would recommend getting quite specific and granular in your short term goals. I assume you would be recruiting for some tech p.m. rules among the top companies in the US?
I would say you picked what i would consider pretty aggressive goals but I think reachable with some help from a friend who can back you up. At the same time, I would say most except UCLA would be no-scholarship programs. If you are considering/looking for scholarships, perhaps worth going down a tier to Fuqua, Ross, Yale, Darden, Johnson, Stern.
I don't do much of profile reviews and I don't consult and I have no idea about the strength of your applications and stories but with lots of assumptions, that's my take. As. usual, it is good to apply to a spectrum of programs to get feedback in R1 and readjust for R2.
