I was born and raised in Brunei, in a family that valued education and personal responsibility. While I worked hard academically, I was always drawn to leadership and service, joining student council and becoming a peer group helper because I cared about contributing to something bigger than myself.
I studied Engineering at the University of Manchester to learn how to build things that make a tangible difference. It trained me to think in systems, work in a structured way and understand how repeatable processes allow organisations to scale. Wanting to broaden my perspective beyond technical execution, I later pursued a Master’s in Digital Futures at King’s College London, where I explored the intersection of technology, culture and society, with a particular focus on how AI is reshaping humanity.
I am currently based in Dubai, serving as Global Lead for Innovation and Research at Kent, a global energy services company, reporting to the Senior Vice President of Operations. I led the design and global rollout of our innovation management system, aligned it to ISO standards and helped reposition the Centre of Excellence into a focused innovation and research hub. I also built a global AI network to strengthen organisational capability and guide responsible investment in emerging technologies. My approach blends structured execution with empathy, ensuring change is practical, human centred and sustainable.
I am driven by integrity, ambition and the desire to leave a lasting impact. In the long term, I hope to lead at the forefront of AI and innovation while building initiatives that expand access to knowledge and financial freedom, ensuring that technology creates opportunity for more people, not just a few.

The schools you have chosen are super selective, and therefore high GMAT/GRE scores would be extremely helpful.
It's great however, that you have started to think about the application early, since a compelling story can also help you highlight your initiatives pitted against the challenges you have faced.
