After graduating as valedictorian of my high school, I attended Kent State University on a full ride, amassing multiple scholarships. Namely, the Horatio Alger National Scholarship, Kent State Honors College Scholarship, and a Kent State Business School Academic Scholarship. While there, I was president of our Student Managed Investment Fund and captain of our CFA Research Challenge team. I had two summer internships, one in general Finance with Crown Equipment (rotated through the business to Data Analysis, Credit, Accounting, etc) and one with JPMorgan Chase in Business Management. Upon graduating Summa Cum Laude, I joined the Raymond James Bank Corporate Banking team originating syndicated, participation, and direct loans before moving into the Risk Management space. I am now a Senior Analyst/Team Lead and support our Chief Risk Officer in special projects as well as track the bank to its overall risk appetite. I also served as a lead for our Community Service program at the Bank and recently joined as a Finance Chair for my local Salvation Army.
