Hi
Priyanka here from ARINGO. Speaking about your profile, you have a very strong profile for top MiM and Finance Master's programs.

What stands out immediately is your academic record. Being in the top 3-4 students in a cohort of roughly 1,000 is a significant achievement. The Trading & Investment Major and CFA Level I also show a clear commitment to finance.

Your M&A internship is another strong point. Exposure to valuations, acquisition analysis, transaction support, and working within a private equity-backed platform gives you relevant experience for someone targeting IB.

Have you held any leadership positions, club roles, or extracurricular activities during university?
Are you targeting investment banking only, or would you also consider private equity or other finance roles in the future?

I think your biggest strengths are your academics, strong finance focus, and relevant M&A experience. The next step is continuing to build transaction-related experience and making sure your applications clearly explain your motivation for investment banking and your longer-term career goals.

I’d be happy to offer you a free profile review for your target programs to see where you stand and how to boost your chances, happy to help!
No pressure, no strings - just helpful insights on where you stand and how you can strengthen your chances.

There are three profiles that admission committees look at when evaluation your profile:

1. Academic Profile:
- Amazing CGPA + Dean’s List is great! What’s your GMAT/GRE score? Ideally 655+ for HEC and 625+ for ESSEC & ESADE. If GRE, 323+ for HEC and 315+ for ESSEC & ESADE.
- Relevant academic projects using skills such as Financial Modelling, R for Finance, Advanced Excel and VBA, Bloomberg can be done.
- Any research work done? If there’s a good one, we can apply to get it published as well.

1. Professional Profile:
- Is there any upcoming internship for this summer? The M&A one is great but ideally 2 internships are preferred.
- Also having something upcoming for the next summer would be very impactful. Priority should be to find an off cycle or summer internship for this year and another one for next summer. Would really help in convincing the university how serious you are.
- We need to make sure that the bullet points under work ex has many numbers, action words, international interaction

1. Interpersonal Profile:
- Anything done during school before undergrad isn’t relevant when applying for Masters.
- Club/Fest engagements, societal initiatives, community impact, entrepreneurial ventures, hobbies (portfolio management and investing) - they’re all relevant.
- It’s a business school that you’d be applying to hence who you are beyond your academic qualifications and internships is also important.

Overall, a strong base! For a detailed profile evaluation and roadmapping for the coming months, you can schedule a call with us!

We had a 100% success rate for ESSEC and ESADE MSc Finance for 2026 intake. For HEC, 17 of 20 applicants received interview calls.

An application to the top B-schools involves multiple things to be taken care of:

1. A well curated CV: Having worked with the adcom of LBS, we know exactly the kind of keywords, comprehensiveness, format, and pointers they are looking for! We don’t only completely transform your CV to market you well, but we also add content to your profile in multiple ways.

2. LOR- Some schools prefer an academic LOR, while some seek a professional one. Having researched well into this through students in top unis across the world, we offer full support in drafting a standout LOR. From selecting your recommender to drafting the LOR.

3. Essays: These are probably the most important part of the application. Most counsellors in India have no clue about what the adcoms really want to read and they simply improve the language of the stuff you submit in. This is an issue that 100% of our friends at LBS faced and a prime motivation of us starting this consultancy. We sit for hours to make your story line make sense and impressive. Multiple edits, continuous suggestions, reviews from a panel of experts until all of us are satisfied with the essays. Even the smallest of the blank in the application form is our responsibility, you won’t ever be alone in anything. On an average, top B-schools have atleast 5 essays. Hence, doing a brief research by checking the university website and simply talking to 2-3 alums won’t make the cut.
