Working in a public sector company in energy business for last 3 years in projects as well as operations departments.

Want to work in consulting firms after MBA in USA.
Suggest me some good schools where I can apply in addition of these.
Thanks in advance.

I like your list. Maybe add Darden? And for safety you can also add Emory?

Should I consider Fuqua, Johnson and Darden doable or ambitious?

What these would probably be your reach schools. Their average GMAT for India applicants is probably around 740 or 750, so you are a bit below the average. You can try playing with the decision tracker for the last year to see average scores of admitted applicants. Though scores are not everything.

Can I consider Simon as a safe school? I have engineering background and Simon has most intake from commerce background.

I think Simon can be a safety. They usually place folks into Financial roles/jobs not per se Consulting but they want a diverse class so from admission, it may work but not as much from the Consulting recruiting standpoint, with Simon not being a big Consulting feeder school (correct me if I am off here)

If you can list out some safe schools for me where I can apply. I am planning to apply in some stretch schools in round two. And one more query sir, if i got rejected in round one, I cannot apply in round two even with higher GMAT score. Correct?

Missing out some great options for Ops focused career. Would recommend giving Kelley a serious thought. Mccombs can be a decent fit, but the GMAT will be on the borderline for the school, so you can consider Rice. In the Bay Area you can think about Marshall to leverage your background in Energy and pivot to Cleantech focused consulting roles.
Darden and Fuqua maybe ambitious given the lower GMAT score and background in Energy. Johnson may not align well with your profile. Ross will be a good fit from a profile and career standpoint, but the GMAT will be a hurdle.
