If I start in Fall 24, it will be close to 4 years since I started working as a software engineer. I want to start my business/start-up and I've made some (failed) efforts towards the same. In the short term, I would be OK with a business development role at any sized company.

I don't have a lot of leadership experience. But I was one of the founding members of the spiritual club at my college and recently, I've also done a public policy course as I have an interest in the policy-making and analysis that goes into it.
Mostly I've read that Foster is one of the best schools for entrepreneurship. Other than that, I'm also applying to ISB and Fuqua, due to being in India and being STEM-designated respectively.
Edit: I scored 705 in GMAT Focus

It’s not us a big problem or issue if you don’t have much leader ship experience in your current role. However, it is good to find it and demonstrate that you have the potential.

Ross and Foster would be great for tech recruiting and the fact that you are a former software developer is a big plus. Having your own start ups, even field is also very valuable to demonstrate that you’re not just wasting your life and that you are taking steps to achieve your goal when you’re learning important lessons….

You will need a strong test score to get in and even a stronger one if you are looking for some merit scholarship money.

Interview specifically business development, that’s not a very typical MBA job I see many folks recruiting for so I can’t really say much about it except that I would recommend researching and reach out to a few current students about this opportunity. I’m not sure how rare or common it is

Hey, bb. Thanks for the advice. I'm hoping for a good test score as the only weakness so far is RC which I'm working towards. I'll also reach out to others to learn more.

hey @viswanath1. I only used free resources, except official guide for gmat focus.
i started with just exploring about the exam structure and questions a bit and decided to take a free mock from e-gmat which gave me a good idea about my current standing. after that i just attempted questions in the areas that i was weak in, from whatever free online resources i found, although OG was by far the best. also e-gmat frequently hosts free webinars focusing on the strategy and mindset you need to have during the exam. it was very, VERY helpful as it helped me stay calm.
