Hi and congratulations on your achievements and your profile. Do you have a rather unique profile and the strong one. However, your test score is on the low side for the deferred programs. Competition tends to be stiff for these early programs because they’re only so few spots.

I’m not sure what makes the most sense right now in terms of strengthening your application and whether taking the test or focusing on essays may be better but I can tell you that risk of applying is pretty low since you can always apply in two or four or five years.

I would recommend for you to take a test, any test, GRE, GMAT, GMAT Focus now while you’re still fresh out of undergrad. Whether you get admitted or not, most people still reapply later and unless you want to take the test again, it would be very handy to have it for future applications. Just pointing out something that I’ve seen over the years.

However, low chances doesn’t mean impossible so there’s always a chance👍

Hey, thankyou for you review.
I understand that the score is low for deferred but I will still give it a shot. However, I always wanted to apply to EU - hec paris insead etc after a few years, will the score be enough then?
Also how about deferred in rice, tepper, emory and mcdonoughs?

Hello!

You have a wonderfully all-rounded and strong profile! I completely agree with BB that the competition is absolutely tough for these programs and would need an outstanding GMAT Score 730+ atleast.
With your current score which is also good, I would recommend you to opt for MiM programs - eg MiM at HEC Paris, MiM at EDHEC would be good choices! Some institutions also offer dual degree programs which enable you to get into MBA after an MiM.

Please feel free to reach out to me in case you want to have a detailed chat.
