Hi. You have already applied so not sure how much value I can add but happy to try
I think the main weakness is the test score. If you can get a test waiver somewhere (we are kind of past R2 now) that would be preferable.
Work Experience: Your diverse experience in banking, including rural social uplift and an IB role in New York, is a strong asset. This variety will appeal to MBA programs due to its uniqueness.
Your leadership in extracurricular activities and numerous awards will show your strong leadership and impact - this is good!
Private Credit is good goal and aligns well with your background, enhancing the coherence of your application.
I think you have a shot at LBS. Columbia and Wharton are tough with that score. They are very competitive.... Maybe Darden is an option with that GRE. Stern is picky too. Possibly Johnson? Strong Finance recruiting.
Sure! That always works. Schools say they like reapplicants. I always thought it was a lip service and something they did not mean but then talking to former deans and admissions directors who turned into consultants they still reiterated it, so don't feel like you only have one shot. The only limiting factor should be your time and app fees (though many are free these days)
You got an invite to LBS and that’s a huge accomplishment!
By the way, it does not mean you failed your interview in case you don’t get chosen or your interview saved you if you do. Interview invite means they want to learn more about you and they saw something interesting in you and you were not an outright reject 😇
It is a positive sign either way but it doesn’t mean that you just need to pass the interview. So don’t stress it too much 😇
Thank you... I hope the other schools also see something and dont ding me. Though I think CBS is erratic in their interview invites.. I have slim hope there. But I am trying to give my best shot for the interview.
